International exhibitions New Digital Technologies in Schools

In the context of the nationwide programme Digital Economy of the Russian Federation, Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation Research and Educational Centre of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University jointly with Rossotrudnichestvo holds international exhibitions New Digital Technologies in Schools that enable its participants to get to know technologies of VR and AR, AI and the industrial internet of things, the use of platforms for assigning electronic homework, the use of e-book readers and digital content, networking and virtual laboratories. Speakers and presenters include the leading Russian scientists and experts in various areas of focus, as well as representatives of the largest Russian universities and IT companies.

Goals of activities:
improving Russia's prestige in information and communication technologies, attracting and training foreigners to start education and work in the Russian Federation in IT professions;
promoting the Russian education;
attracting nationals and foreigners for education and work to the Russian Federation from foreign states by engaging them in joint activities in popular science topics of educational programmes implemented in Russian schools and universities.
Objectives of activities:

  • Establishment of partner ties with foreign educational systems at various levels (educational governing bodies, schools, and teachers).
New Digital Technologies in Schools
International exhibitions arranged by the Bauman Moscow State Technical University
Across in-person and distant activities, participants may attend lectures, workshops, master classes, webinars and hackathons guided by the leading Russian scientists and experts in the following areas of interest: VR technologies, artificial intelligence, additive technologies, natural language processing, information security and
computer-assisted engineering systems. The programme envisages master classes in virtual reality for digital
materials science and the master class in 3D modelling, where each participant may create their own 3D model in reliance upon their knowledge and imagination and take it with them.

Master class participants will learn that 3D modelling is the process of creating a three-dimensional object model. 3D modelling is aimed at developing the three-dimensional visual image of the desired object. 3D graphics allow creating an exact copy of the real object and developing something completely new and fantastic. 3D modelling is real art offering wide prospects for those wishing to master it! The 3D modelling master class will start with answering basic questions, whereupon its participants will create their own 3D model in reliance upon their expertise and imagination and take it with them.
