Winners of the Grant Programme
27 organisation were selected as winners of the Grant Programme of Rossotrudnichestvo.
They include 6 state budgetary general education institutions, 3 private educational institutions, Znanie Russian Society (All-Russian Public-Private Educational Organisation), 2 associations of educational institutions and 15 autonomous non-profit organisations which, in aggregate, intend to improve digital literacy of 2,265 school students and 4,550 teachers of Russian schools abroad by implementing the projects. The grants will be given to various online educational programmes and for development of digital resources: virtual museums, educational platform and international competitions.

As expected, the grant programme will enable development of educational courses for grade 7-11 school students offered through digital educational platforms for students at Russian schools abroad. The new courses will be aimed at shaping up conscious digital
behaviour, digital literacy skills and creation of own digital products, teaching programming and other IT aspects.

The courses include Digital Art (80 hours), Animated Cartoons as an Example of Simulation Modelling (80 hours), Modern Technologies for 3D Modelling, Design and Printing (80 hours); courses in the Russian culture, literature, folk craft, programming and other digital competencies. Grant receivers include institutions (MCTTU, TSU) that will develop and implement supplementary education programmes for teams of teachers abroad, such as "Digital Transformation of School: Strategy, Network Projects and New Competencies" aimed at improvement of digital literacy of teachers and involvement into development of projects for creation of the digital economy educational environment; several projects imply expert and consulting support of the digital transformation of Russian schools abroad subject to the resources of network cooperation on the regional, national and international levels, with online competitions, hackathons, online societies for study of the Russian culture, literature, programming and other IT aspects.

Arrangement of international contests and competitions for promotion of the Russian culture, modern digital technologies in human and other sciences, preparation for enrolment to digital economy faculties of the Russian universities and institutes is accompanied by certain efforts aimed at ensuring wide access to the digital content to improve the digital literacy of school students, shaping up stable social ties and motivating the school students to study at the Russian IT universities and institutes.

Events will also be arranged in Mongolia, Vietnam, Germany, Moldova, Lithuania, Estonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, Cuba, etc. The number of school students and employees of Russian schools abroad who have taken digital literacy, IT and programming courses will be assessed.
